I am sorry that I cannot give this irem a review as when UPS delivered it, I refused delivery not due to product, but I needed a DVD/VCR sooner rather than later. I was able to find this same item locally, so purchased it. I tried notifying Amazon but was unable to do so. I am sorry and trust this will not be a problem

Nice little setup. I believe it cost me $99.99 at the time in Circuit City, one year and six months ago. Samsung has emerged. WATCH OUT SONY!

This thing has not worked right from day one. The DVD player has always skip or paused and it seems it's very hard for the dvd to get started. A very cheap built machine. This has turned me against Samsung. I'll go back to RCA!

Like others have said the VCR stops working in less than a year. Junk avoid.

Problems With Loading Trays.......2006-09-24

After only about three months I had to send the unit back because the DVD tray wouldn't open. Now, a few months later, I'm having trouble with the VCR tray. This morning I stuck my finger in the slot and 'banged' on the tape with my finger and the tape ejected afterwards.

Playback of DVD's is good. Playback of recorded tapes is not so hot. Giving it three stars for overall features.
