The space-saving Aquos LC-13B2UB is less than 3 inches deep, yet it produces a vivid 13-inch image using Sharp's proprietary Advanced Super View LCD panel. The 4:3 aspect-ratio screen provides a higher contrast ratio and wider viewing angles than conventional LCD screens do, while its black TFT antiglare coating makes it bright enough to view its brilliant colors with ease, even in well-lit rooms.
An electronic PLL tuner handles over-air reception of TV programming. Component- and composite-video inputs accommodate everything from DVD players to VCRs, camcorders, and gaming consoles, while a built-in 181-channel tuner lets you plug a cable TV line right into the TV and start watching. For audio, a pair of two-way, three-driver speakers are powered by 2.1 watts each and provide clear mid and high frequencies, making it easy to enjoy live concert DVDs and other programs to the fullest. A left-right pair of analog audio outputs lets you hook the monitor up to a receiver or integrated amplifier.
Weighing less than 8 pounds, the LC-13B2UB is easy to position and reposition. An included carry handle-table stand makes moving it between rooms easy, and the one-piece stand detaches for wall mounting. With the LC-13B2UB's NTSC, PAL, and SECAM compatibility, you can watch video sources from the U.S., Western Europe, and Eastern Europe, and all will appear properly formatted.
