More than just a high-quality TV, the set's PC inputs also make it equally suitable for home offices. It offers a black cabinet with speakers integrat ed in each side and a removable table-top stand; it's wall-mountable with an optional kit (VESA-compatible--100 x 200). It features a built-in, 181-channel NTSC tuner and c an receive high-definition (ATSC) broadcasts from an optional HD receiver.
This LCD TV provides a 1280 x 720-pixel native resolution for a 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio for optimal letterbox movie watching and compatibility with 1080i/720p/480p/480 i video formats. It also offers an extra-wide 170-degree viewing angle, fast 12ms (mil lisecond) response time, 700 cd/m2 (candela per square meter) brightness rating, and 7 50:1 contrast ratio. The LT32HVS performs 3:2 pulldown detection and reversal, too--a handy feature for wat ching progressive-scan movie programs in their native 24-frame format. To adapt 24 fra mes-per-second movies to 30 fps video, frames in the original movie must be duplicated ; 3:2 pulldown digitally corrects this duplication by removing the redundant informati on to display a frame-accurate picture. A 3D comb filter further enhances resolution b y removing blurred edges between colors and reducing dot crawl (tiny, moving dots of c olor along a sharp color separation in a vertical line, as in a depiction of a charact er's striped T-shirt). It provides PIP and split screen functionality between two diff erent video sources. Other convenience features include selectable aspect ratio (4:3, 16:9), channel return, favorite channel, closed captioning, clock/alarm, sleep timer, and V-Chip parental controls.
The 20-watt stereo audio system (two 10-watt speakers) delivers ample sound for sports and movies. The iDIVA virtual surround sound provides you with several easily adjusta ble settings that simulate an array of audio environments. It offers the following con nection options:

I agree that Olevia is pretty good LCD for the price when it works. But I want to warned you about their quality. (A lot of people has quality issue with olevia, read other people's command)
I had a similar LCD TV from Olevia since June 2005. A week ago the screen when black but there still audio from the set so I know it's not the cable. I turned it off then back on. I got a brief blue screen, then the screen when black again.
I called the Tech support, and found out that I'll probably need a new LCD which going to cost me ~$500 because the warranty had ran out.
I spend ~$800 for the set and it worked for a year and a half, I don't think it's a good value, do you?
So before you waste your money on the set, asked yourself if it's a good value if it breaks in a little more than a year!
This is a new brand, so at the time when I bought the set, there's not report of how long the TV will last, knowing what I know now, I would spend a little more and get a different brand. Now I owned a $800 piece of junk!
Awsome LCD for price (No HDMI).......2006-11-22
This LCD TV is very good for what you pay, you wont regret it if you purchase one. I've had mine for over 6months and have not had a single problem. I did not give it a 5 star because of the lack of HDMI connection. It does 1080i/720p/480.
Cons - 1- No HDMI connection
2- Speakers on TV don't go that loud
(should not be a problem with a sourround sound system)
3- Remote control is ok (looks cheap)
Besides those cons, the TV is great and you should not be dissapointed.

FORGET THE RECONIZED BRANDED TVS AND ITS EXPENSIVE PRICE. THIS LCD HAVE A VERY CLEAR IMAGE, EXCELENT NOISE REDUCTION FEATURES, VIVID COLORS AND WELL BALANCED BLACK CONTRAST. THE ONLY BAD IS THE CHEAPER REMOTE CONTROL, BUT FORGET THAT, THE IMPORTANT HERE IS THE PICTURE QUALITY. I RECOMEND THIS TV FOR EVERY ONE.

I recommend it if you want a good LCD but don't want to spend a lot of money on Sony's...
Volume problems with this TV.......2006-08-10
Having exchanged this set once I still have the same problem,low volume.I watch this TV with the volume turned to max most of the time and its still not sufficient and to make matters even worse the manufacture is not customer friendly and of no help.If you buy this set because of price you will regret it.
