Great Buy!.......2004-08-21

I got this MP3 player today, and I gotta say...it has to be one of the easiest pieces of audio/computer hardware I have ever used! Right out of the box, put in the battery (AAA, included), plugged it into my hard drive, dragged and dropped some somgs, and viola! Instant music player. The price was good, the shipping was seriously fast, and I love it so far. I'll update this if anything goes wrong...this has to be too good to be true! I only hope it lasts. Only thing I don't like about it is that you can't organize the songs in it, they play in the order they are listed when you put files on there. There is no randomizer, either, so you'll be hearing the same songs in the same order over and over unless you frequently change the playlist. Also, there is no "stop" button, there is play, pause, on and off. And toggle to the next or previous song, of course. (UPDATE: 12/11/04)Now that I've had it awhile, it seems to be ultra sensitive to being moved around, as in it will TURN OFF when you jiggle it. Not a good thing. However, I think it's just because the batteries aren't in very well, and if you jiggle it it comes off the contact a little, so pretty easily correctable. Other than that, I have no other complaints. One other thing: if you have a CD Player kit for your car (with the cassette adapter) you can plug the cassette adapter into your headphone plug on the MP3 player and you can use the player in your car!

I just got this item from amazon. It shipped in 3 days! I was very impressed considering I expected over a week. It came in a small plastic case, with neck strap, usb extension cable, headphones, the player (of course), AAA battery, a small clip and rope to keep the cap with the player, and manual. I was not able to use it right away as the battery they gave me was bad. It was corroded and dented. Looked like some old used battery. I went out and bought some new AAA batteries and it worked right away. The controls are incredibly easy to follow and the quality of the sound is superb. I like all its features and think this is the best Mp3 player on the market, especially for its price. Very light weight, fits in the palm of my hand, and incredibly easy to put music on. I am a student and enjoy this product because I can put my documents on it (it's durable so I don't have to worry about it breaking like 3.5 floppies or zip disks), listen to music while I bike/walk home, and can record voice tracks (wav files) if I need a quick reminder. Highly recommended.

Ordered this item from amazon a month ago and continued to get weekly updates saying there was a delay in shipping. Finally they told me they couldn't ship it and cancelled my order. Service was terrible because I couldn't cancel the order due to it being in the "shipping process", but the item never shipped. Not giving this product a bad review just amazon's customer service.

coolest mp3 player ever.......2003-11-18

I have not owned mp3 players before this one, but i have seen other peoples. I also got it because it doubles as a storage device.
This thing is light as air. It has to weigh no more than the AAA battery that powers it, if not less than it. I get like 10 hours or so out of it. It has fantastic sound. I NEVER use the full volume, and it has different equilizer settings. The LCD display is a must for mp3 players in my opinion. You can make voice recordings if you need to, and it plays both mp3 and wma file types.
You need to have Windows 2000 or higher for it to be recognized as a new plug n' play device, since it comes with no installation disks. I love not being reduced to those unstable and zero capacity floppies. You just plug it in, drag and drop, and go.
This is well worth it, not to mention it just looks tight!

This is my 2nd mp3 player and so far it is just amazing in all respects.It is so easy to use,and a pleasure to listen to.Loading music to it is extremely simple,plug in and load to your hearts content.If there is a player easier to use than this one I want to know about it.For the money there is no better mp3 player.Music key is giving this product away,it should cost a lot more.The headphones that comes with it does not do this player justice,but add a pair of decent ones and you will not be able to turn the volume all the way up with out bursting your eardrums.This player is worth every penny.Many props to the people who designed this product.
