It sounded horrible and the tape player broke within 3 days. Don't buy it. It looks cool but sounds like a loud pair of headphones.

This was a Christmas gift for my father-in-law who, at 87, received his first CD's. He is not up on technology, but he learned to use it fast, and he plays his CD's every day.
