The front panel features a six-digit backlit LCD display that exhibits the radio station call letters and basic track information. Should CDs and MP3s get old, listeners can turn to the digital AM/FM tuner to enjoy local public and commercial radio. The device even includes 10 AM and 20 FM presets that make it easy to find your favorite stations again and again.
The system owes its audio performance to its dynamic bass boost system (DBBS) and pair of full-range speakers. The DBBS pumps up the bass to improve the low-end sound, while the speakers take care of the rest. Additional features include a stereo headphone jack and AC/DC dual power (includes line cord). Appropriately for a portable player, the boombox also runs on eight "C" batteries and includes a fold-down carrying handle for easy transport. The device carries a 90-day warranty on parts and labor.
