The new Panasonic RQ-SW44VS ShockWave radio cassette Jogger makes it easier than ever to take along your tunes as you jog or work out. This compact AM/FM cassette sports radio features an adjustable arm band, which can be custom fit to your upper arm. It also comes with a handgrip for when you would prefer to run with the unit. Its rubber-cushioned, water-resistant body helps shield it from the bumps and bruises of active use.
This model features up to 20 hours of playback on a single AA battery. A digitally synthesized tuner ensures crisp, virtually drift-free reception. Twenty station presets and five direct keys give you instant access to your favorite AM and FM stations. The full-function cassette deck with auto reverse plays your favorite tapes. The twist-lock mechanism with anti-roll function holds hold your tapes in the unit even during rugged use.
A large central display shows tuning mode, preset information, frequency, and station band. It also features a lap function and variable timer setting for your exercise workouts. As a member of the ShockWave line of personal audio products, this unit features a tough rubber cushioned body that resists routine bumping and is water resistant. A Twist Lock mechanism and dual hinges ensure tapes will stay in place even if dropped. The entire tape mechanism actually floats on rubber bushings, which offer added protection to the delicate inner workings. The Power Last power system combines a highly efficient motor with low-load circuitry for drastically improved playback time. The RQ-SW44V delivers up to 25 hours of music - on just one "AA" alkaline battery. The RQ-SW44V is equipped with a Digital Synthesizer tuner with 20 station presets, enabling the user to store 5 AM and 5 FM in each of two modes. This makes this model perfect for frequent travelers, since one group can be reserved for out-of-town stations. And, Panasonic's XBS Extra Bass System lets users enjoy rich, robust sound particularly in the low frequencies. Great product, but terrible headphones!.......2002-05-17
The belt-clip is substantial and keeps the player secured. The rubber encasing makes the player more durable. It is remarkably light, in part, because it uses only one battery at a time. The lap function is nice and I love the lock that keeps the player closed and the tape secure.
If you buy this product, be sure to get a different headphones.
