The VN-180 also boasts a voice activation sensor that allows the device (when turned ON) to begin recording once the microphone senses sound. It also has three separate folders for storing up to 100 messages each. Using the handy LCD display panel, you can store, move or save your messages from folder to folder or create recordings to remind you of important events or dates such as a birthday or anniversary. You can even program up to 20 recordings, each to play automatically at a given time to serve as a reminder of important meetings or simply a wake-up call. In addition to facilitating file management, the LCD display provides valuable information such as remaining recording time, voice activation mode, the date & time, play mode (SP/LP) and battery status.
