The Olympus Standard recorder is lightweight, stylish, and easy to operate with just one hand. Keep a log of thoughts and new ideas, dictate memos when you're on the move, or use it to keep archives of phone conversations. It comes with a fresh set of AAA batteries and a 60-minute microcassette, so it's ready to use right out of the box! This recorder has an indexing feature which saves time by scanning for specific locations in your recordings. Additional features include; low-battery indicators; three LEDs let you know how much battery power you have left, voice-activated recording so you won't miss a syllable, dual tape speeds so you can set your recorder to "extended play" and you'll get up to 3 hours' recording onto one 90-minute microcassette. The Olympus Standard Recorder has 2 built-in accessory jacks. The first lets you connect an AC power cord (to save on battery life). The second lets you use an earphone for reviewing recordings privately, or a microphone for recording with even better sound quality
