An antenna aids in tuning, and an emergency flasher can help others locate you if you get lost in the woods (or even, these days, in a parking lot).
The TV sports a 5-inch black-and-white screen and a headphone jack lets you listen in private. The device runs on 9 D batteries (not included) or either of 2 alternate power sources: wall power via an AC/DC power adapter or vehicle power via a DC cigarette-lighter adapter (both supplied). A retractable carry strap simplifies transport (you may want to carry batteries separately).
