A front-panel audio/video input easily accommodates a camcorder, digital camera, or gaming console, and with its minijack .125-inch headphone output, a viewer can listen quietly or in private.
The VCR offers 8-event, 1-year programming, one-touch programming, auto head cleaning, digital auto tracking, auto clock set with Daylight Savings Time adjustment, a calendar to simplify programming, and SQPB: playback of Super-VHS videocassettes at standard VHS quality.
The unit's non-volatile memory retains picture settings and TV channel setup in the event of a power outage, along with a 3-second memory on program and timer settings (enough to hold you through momentary brown outs). The set's trilingual onscreen display simplifies setup and shows tape status.
