This item was as decribed, but the radio sounded bad and the reception was terrible. I'm soory I made this purchase.

It was so bad I had to return it. I could not get any clear station to come in. Had to pay postage because it was not physically broken.
Waste of Money!.......2006-05-12
I've had this radio for a week and it's been a slow and painful death. From the start i noticed that I can't hear it while the water is running because it's not loud enough. Then, the tuner stopped working properly and the stations were all off by a frequency or 2. This morning, I couldn't hear anything but white noise... This thing is a waste of money! We had a sharper image one previously which was great but it broke cause it fell off the wall (suction cups!)...

I bought this radio because it's digital and I thought it would be easier to tune. The first radio I got worked about a week and I had to send it back. Amazon was very good about getting me a new one and so far so good but it doesn't get am radio stations in very good (my husband likes the sports shows). Overall, I wish I would have spent the extra $20 and got a good one. I guess "you get what you pay for" is the truth.
AM radio doesn't come in!.......2006-01-09
The whole reason I bought this radio was so my fiancee could listen to his AM sports talkradio station in the shower. Even though it advertises that it plays AM & FM; he told me his station doesn't work (very static-y). Other than that, the radio is good, as long as you only want to listen to FM radio.
