Customer Reviews:

1 out of 5 stars Not Reliable.......2005-06-16

After about two years this weather radio has finally broken. All I get is static on everything. I called Oregon Scientific and they said there is only a one year warranty. While it worked, it was good but did not receive every warning or watch. Just bought the WR103 and hopefully that works better.

4 out of 5 stars Works well - can sit on desk or mount on wall.......2005-03-27

This radio works fine. Oregon Scientific recalled these radios shortly after I bought mine because of some sort of product defect. This updated replacement radio has worked just well side by side with my portable weather radio. The sound is good. I like the visual message display.

1 out of 5 stars Hard to Program.......2003-10-01

This product has the most difficult programming instructions I have ever seen. Even changing the clock time (which you have to do 2X per year) proves to be a major challenge requiring the manual. The manual also must have been translated from Chinese as it is also difficult to understand...even for someone like myself with a technical degree! I tossed the product out after 6 months.

1 out of 5 stars Looks good, works cheap.......2003-08-07

Sorry everyone, I really wanted to rate this high, ... It came with no antenna, standard. Without an antenna, it picks up few neighboring countie warnings, and lousy radio reception. The radio stinks, sounds cheap, like a ... 4 transistor I had 40 yrs ago. Hard to program (I work with computers), hard to operate. The alarm works half the time, probably due to no antenna. Save your money.

1 out of 5 stars Disapointed.......2003-07-30

I purchased this product right before spring because of severe weather. It worked OK for about a month and then it no longer would give warnings.
I reprogrammed it and it didn`t help. I e-mailed Oregon Scientific and I got an E-Mail back asking for my imformation and they would give me an address to send it to for testing. Never heard from them again.
I then purchased a Midland 74-200 which was cheaper and works great, was easier to program and came with a full year warranty oppossed to so called 90 day from the Oregon Scientific.
Don`t Buy This Product. As I was you`ll regret it.
