Great radio for the price.............2006-03-16
I've owned this radio for about a year, and in that year, it's been soaked and dropped, [and hit with the full force of the shower!] but like the energizer bunny, it took a lickin' and it's STILL tickin'!
I've owned more expensive shower radios, but this little $19.95 thingy works the best out of all of them.....great sound, excellent reception.
Don't be fooled by the big name brands and those big name brand prices....for less than $20, this is a great deal.

This product is great. I read a different review that says they couldn't hear it, etc. They may have just bought a defective one, because mine is just fine. It is exceptionally clear with better reception then my sterio. I can hear it over the shower with no problem at all. I haven't changed the batteries since the day I bought it about five months ago and I listen to it every day in the shower for about 15-20 minutes.
It is definitely splash proof. I'm online right now trying to buy 12 of them for Christmas presents for all of my family members because everyone loves it.

I bought this product for my daughter. Although it was a cheap item, it also reflects the product's function. I guess I got what I paid for. With the volume knob all the way up, the music can barely be heard. That is with the shower OFF. With the shower on, the music cannot be heard at all! Thus, this item should be illegal to be sold on the market. This is the first time I've purchased a shower radio, so don't know how the sound is supposed to be, but the music is so distorted from the worthless speakers, that even with the shower off, it is hard to understand what is coming over the radion. Sounds like blown out speakers.
