The Thunder5400X has five, count 'em, five channels. Four of the channels feature an 18dB/octave Butterworth defeatable and continuously variable crossover (50Hz - 200Hz). The front channel has a 40x frequency multiplier (50-200Hz/2000-8000Hz). The fifth channel is a dedicated, class D subwoofer channel, with an 18 dB/octave low-pass crossover (Butterworth, continuously variable, 50-200Hz). Class D is an important classification in the amplifier world. Class D means, quite simply, more power, used more efficiently. Your power goes to driving speakers, not to heating up the heat sink.
