JVC's RX-DP15 7.1-channel receiver uses zero interference technology with separate block construction including dual heat sinks and separate transformers for analog and digital circuits, all incorporated to remove any interference within the receiver. This receiver has a C.C. (Compression Compensative) converter and a 24 bit/192kHz P.E.M. D.D. D/A converter to reproduce any CD or DVD signal the way it was intended to be heard. K2 Technology is also used, which incorporates enhanced algorithms for improved sound quality.
The RX-DP15 also has multi-room/multi-source capabilities allowing you to watch or listen to two different video or audio sources in two different rooms with the use of its RF remote control. Finally, this THX Ultra 2 certified receiver has THX Surround EX Decoding built in with 7 independent amplifiers along with Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital EX, dts, dts-ES (Discrete 6.1/ Matrix 6.1), dts NEO:6, dts 96/24, and Dolby Pro Logic II decoders built-in for theater quality surround from digital sources.
JVC's Text Compu Link is built in and ties together JVC receivers with JVC CD changers, MD recorders, and your TV so that you can enjoy music the easy way. You choose the track you want to play from a list on the TV screen. You can even give tracks you own titles and search by performer, title, or genre. It shows text data (performer name, disc title, and genre) of CD-Text CDs on the receiver's display as well as on the screen of your TV. It also has AV Compu Link providing simple one touch operation between your JVC audio and video components. With AV Compu Link you can pop a pre-recorded VHS tape into the VCR or DVD into the DVD player and it will automatically power up your receiver and your television and then turn them each to the proper inputs.
A full complement of AV inputs/outputs (including component and S-Video, seven digital inputs, and a digital output) makes it easy to connect all of your digital and analog components. The digital AM/FM tuner allows for up to 15 AM and 30 FM presets so you can quickly find your favorite stations. And for those times when you can't use your surround speakers or just want a little privacy, there's a headphone jack available on the front panel.
