The Athena S.5 Bookshelf Speaker combines great looks, flexible placement options, high power handling, and massive sound, all in one awesome speaker. The tiny S.5 can be used in many applications -- it's perfect for music use in small rooms or as an add-on to a home theater system as rear channels. The S.5 has great bass response and provides an amazing listening experience.
The S.5 features a one-inch teteron dome tweeter and a four-inch, molded polypropylene cone woofer. The tweeter has a dispersion enhancing faceplate for a wider listening window and excellent stereo imaging. The rear-vented design of the S.5 delivers extended bass response, so your listening experience will be accented with some extra "bump."
The high gloss black cabinets look beautiful in any home, and the silver baffles offer a stylish accent. The finish allows it to be used in conjunction with any other Athena Technologies models. It is also completely timbre matched, so it can be utilized in conjunction with either SCT or Audition series models. The S.5 is well-designed, well-built, and incredibly versatile.
The included mounting bracket is sturdy and simple to install. It requires no special tools and allows you to set the speaker at very flexible angles so you can place the speaker where you need to, and aim the sound how you desire.
