The two-way speaker, representing nearly two years of design refinement by the engineers at NHT, employs the same 1" fluid-cooled tweeter and 6.5" woofer as the much larger ST4 floorstanding tower, eliminating the ST4's additional side-firing woofer. The 6-5" driver's massive motor structure delivers increased bass output, with extension down to an unprecedented 39Hz! Imaging is precise and revealing when used for stereo playback, and the SB3s are also more than up to the dynamic demands of digital surround sound.
