Excellent Sound.......2007-06-12

I highly recommend these speakers to anyone who truly enjoys a rich vibrant sound at low to high volumes. The bass is highly sensitive and I recommend two things. Have an EQ to adjust your tones to your preference and if plugging these speakers into a straight stereo sound card(not a 5.1 card[only one audio plug in]) buy an adapter for A/V cable to headphone jack that way you'll be able to use all the speakers given otherwise two won't play. This is an excellent product!

Awsome for the money.......2007-05-14

For the Pro's it has exceptional sound for the money. Great sound effects for playing on-line gaming that I do. Sub woofer sounds better than my all-in-one theater system.

For Con's it has an unusual set-up. The main data cable that goes to the computer is connected to the left front speaker. This in turn also makes it difficult to lengthen the line which is just long enough for a small room. Would have made more sense to have the data go to the sub that could be more centrally located. Once you space them out you can't reach front speaker for volume adjustment anyway (with-out getting up).

If you looking for inexpensive small room filling sound there are excellent. The subwoofer pumps the bass, maybe a little to much even. Does a nice surround sound job in my smallish living room uasing my HTPC!

Initally I bought these to play games on my computer, however 5 speakers is overkill on a PC for me. I live in a small apt so I not use these speakers as my surround sound speaker with subwoofer. The sound is great and the bass is impressive for such a small subwoofer. When connecting to TV it can only take RCA component via a converter and split the sound back to 5 channels to the subwoofer power system. Good price, good value.
