For use in either a two-channel audio system or as one of a pair of front channel speakers for a complete surround system, the Klipsch SF-2 floorstanding speaker offers the accuracy, dramatic imaging, and high sensitivity you expect from a professional speaker. The SF2's tweeter utilizes a 1-inch aluminum-diaphragm compression driver coupled to a Klipsch 5-inch square Tractrix horn. This driver assembly is so efficient (96db) that you can enjoy high volumes with low distortion without needing an expensive over-powered amplifier. Two 6.5-inch magnetically shielded, graphite-injected woofers provide powerful bass with remarkable sonic detail. A large flared port bolsters low bass output with minimum turbulence.
It also features a floating grille design, which minimizes image-impairing sonic reflections. This floorstanding speaker can be matched with the SC-1 center-channel and SS-1 surround sound speakers, and it also comes in a black finish.
