As part of the Klipsch Synergy series, the Klipsch SF-3 floorstanding speaker is an excellent choice for both stereo music systems or as one of a pair of front channel speakers for a complete surround system. It delivers incredibly dynamic and accurate performances via its dual 8-inch, magnetically shielded woofers and 1-inch aluminum diaphragm compression driver coupled to a Klipsch 6-inch square Tractrix horn. The woofers feature graphite-injected cones that are light and rigid, which allows better damping for further reduced distortion. The cast-polymer woofer frames have high impact tolerance to stabilize the driver motors and feature a unique venting system that cools the voice coil to enhance reliability. This results in powerful bass with remarkable detail and high volumes with low distortion.
It also features a floating grille design, which minimizes image-impairing sonic reflections. This floorstanding speaker can be matched with the SC-3 center-channel and SS-3 surround sound speakers, and it also comes in a black finish.
