stylish and good performance.......2007-01-09

For me, these speakers were at the high-end of what I wanted to pay to buy a pair of floor-standing front-channel speakers. I paid $667 for the pair, and they are well-worth it. They give light-tones (particularly female speech) a crispness that makes them sound very clear. They seem to do very well down the range, although my sub is close to them, so I haven't heard them do low tones by themselves.

The look very cool either side of a standard TV or stand-mounted plasma, they might look a bit odd next to a wall-mounted plasma / LCD.

I've always been a big fan of Polk products, so perhaps it's not an unbiassed review, but these speakers are great for the price.
