I quite like the speaker. However, the seller has not still shipped me the Power Supply - USB power cord that is included with the purchase even after 5 months and several back and forth e-mail exchanges.

These little speakers are great for indoors. But, if you take them outside, a lot of the times, it will be too fuzzy to hear them. This happens to me a lot, especially when it's windy. Also, one other thing I don't like, is that they do not sit up very well. they fall over at the slightest movement. It doesn't hurt anything, but I think these could be constructed a little better.

I bought these speakers for my daughter and she loves them. the volume is reasonably good. we can't get over how loud it plays. nice quality for the money. I don't have anything negative to say about this product. If you want boom box quality this is not for you. it is for a small room and it is loud enough to be heard in a small home. you will pleasantly surprised like us.

...they're fine. I teach, and this is great to carry to class to play a recording through my IPod. Very odd thing,though--it doesn't work with the battery cover on! And even odder, someone else has had the same problem. But again, at this price if it works why bother to return it?

Might not thrill audiophiles but for someone who just wants more volume then the laptop provides it works just fine. It is light and easy to transport. I use it for presentations where sound from the laptop was not loud enough in a large room and it works great.

I cannot believe the large sound from this tiny speaker. I love the flexibility of it and the sound is SO MUCH better than my everex speaker. If you need a laptop speaker this is the one to buy. It is very portable and kinda cool looking!

I use them with PowerPoint with small groups. The volume is OK but I bought a second unit and found the computer would only run one speaker at a time.

firewire cable users beware.......2007-05-31

My friend owns a set of these and it is true, they sound great. The beef I have with them is that they only work with USB ipods. I know I am a dying breed, but my iPod only works with a firewire cable, thus I am not able to use these speakers. Good thing they were so cheap, I ended up giving them to a friend with no real regrets. Just wish I'd known ahead of time.

We bought this for a science fair exhibit-it worked perfectly! Plus it (along with an old iPod shuffle) was inexpensive enough that if it were stolen or broken (as often happens at science fairs), it wouldn't be a huge loss.

I am pleased with the sound quality. I just wanted something that sounded half decent so I could listen to my iPod instead of a cd player. It did not come with an ac adapter - I wish this was an option when buying it. I also am disappointed with the "dock". I have a nano and it fits in the allotted space IF IT IS NOT PLUGGED INTO THE SPEAKERS. Because the plug is on the bottom of the iPod, it can't sit nicely in the dock area. It still works though - thus the three stars.

Great set of small speakers, which I bought for being simple travel speakers, and for the price they are incredible.

The sound quality is better than many cheap radios. Although it does suffer from a lack of bass this is more than acceptable as the treble is crisp and clear.

Again, for the price it is incredible buy. I would recommend them to anyone.

Unless your laptop's soundcard is not working, or your speakers are barely hearable I wouldn't recommend this. Odds are your laptop does as much as these speakers.

It is well built, looks resistant and it does a decent job. Do not expect very good quality.

I really thought the reviews for this item were probably a little over-blown, but the speakers have proven me wrong. As someone who primarily uses their laptop on the go, I have been looking for a set of small, easily transportable, decent sounding speakers. These fit into all three categories. I am pleasantly surprised by the fullness of the sound that they put out. If you're strictly an audiophile, you'd be better off investing in a good set of Bose headphones, but if you need something to quickly and efficeintly plug and play so other people can hear what is on your laptop, then you won't find a better buy for your money.
