    Sonic Impact Technologies has developed a mini full range subwoofer utilizing a patented technology called MaxxBass that is critical in enabling a new category of smaller, but deep sounding subwoofers called MiniWoofers. MaxxBass dramatically improves perceived bass response in audio systems by up to one and one half octaves. The MaxxBass technology has been used for years in recording much of the world's most popular music, but Sonic Impact now offers a low cost adaptation using a MaxxBass mixed signal ASIC, which enables the design to be non-ported and a minimal form factor.
