The Polk Audio Monitor Series PSW10 Powered Subwoofer is a quality-built yet affordable, high-performance loudspeaker for music and home theater. The PSW10 complements the clean, stylish look of the Monitor Series with powerful, efficient, accurate and musical bass in a compact enclosure with a fashionable cherry finish.
The Polk Monitor PSW10 utilizes a 10-inch polymer-composite dynamic-balance cone driver for tight musical bass, as well as state-of-the-art laser-based Klippel measurement technology that perfectly centers the subwoofer's voice coil in its magnetic field for improved linearity and deep, precise sound. This unit's non-resonant all-MDF enclosure construction with 0.75-inch-thick baffles and internal bracing ensures superior detail, accuracy and musicality. The Monitor PSW10 includes a built-in high-current amplifier that supplies all the power you need for big bass. This amp features adjustable low-pass crossover, phase switch and subwoofer volume control to more easily control your bass output and the sub's blending characteristics with your front stage speakers, and signal-sensing automatic circuitry that knows when to turn itself on and off. The PSW10 unit includes line and speaker level inputs plus an unfiltered LFE Input that ensures easy hookup with any receiver or amplifier, and magnetic shielding for safe placement near TVs and video monitors without causing video distortion. Built for speed, power and value, the Polk Monitor PSW10 is a great introduction to high-performance sound.
