The svelte design of SB-WA100 active subwoofer lets you hide it in tighter spaces, so you hear the powerful bass reproduction without seeing the source.The SB-WA100's cone woofer has an aluminum sub-cone, which disperses voice coil heat directly into the air, maintaining superior high power handling. A dual woofer configuration also works to deepen dynamic response within the bass. For accurate surround sound reproduction, a subwoofer should have power equal to that of the other channels in the system. With a built-in 100W amplifier, the SB-WA100 is a perfect match to Technics' multi-channel receivers. There is no need to turn the subwoofer power on and off each time you use your system. The auto power on/off function detects when an amplifier signal is sent to it and turns it on automatically. When you turn off your receiver or amplifier, the subwoofer automatically powers down by itself.
