The BassCube™ 6S is a 6 1/2 passive (non-amplified) bandpass subwoofer that produces strong, accurate bass with very little amplifier power. Don't let its small size fool you, the BassCube 6S provides a great punch. Use it in combination with our Newton Series™ Main/Center speakers to create an affordable stereo or surround sound speaker system. The BassCube 6S employs a passive radiating woofer in a downward firing design. Because it is passive, placement of the woofer will affect its bass response. Place it in a corner for maximum reflective bass from the walls and floor. And since bass is non-directional, you can even place the compact BassCube 6S under or behind a piece of furniture, making it virtually invisible.
