Perfect if you love your stereo front speakers. Go multi-channel with our WH rear speakers. Excellent sonic integration into any system makes it an ideal and cost-effective solution for upgrading your system.
A good centre channel has to have a smooth even frequency response throughout the vocal section of the sonic spectrum - tuned slightly differently from other speakers, the centre channel will handle most of the dialogue and vocals, making it one of the most important speakers in any package. The WH packages all feature exceptionally high quality centre channels.
In WH series, four packages and a choice of subwoofer are available to match cohesively into virtually any system.
‘Bi-polar' rear design
The WH-2 System uses a ‘Bi-polar' design (for the rear speakers) for a broad soundstage with a more enveloping sound. Two long-throw, polypropylene bass/mid drivers are used in each of the surround and center speakers for exceptional dynamics as well as good tonal integration. 28mm fluid cooled, dome tweeters feature on both center and surround for tightly controlled high frequency response.
The WH-20 System is a larger, more powerful version of the WH-2, featuring larger enclosures and drive units for improved bass response and better integration with larger speakers.

Wharfedale WH-2 package consists of two bipolar rear speakers and a center channel for adding to your existing front stereo speakers to produce a multi-channel system with ideal characteristics for home cinema and multi-channel music - without the need to trade-in your beloved stereo speakers.Bipolar means that both sets of drive units respond in phase (at exactly the same time). With a pair of these mounted on a rear wall, the inner set of drive units provides a direct stereo image, whereas the other set of drive units, fires towards and bounces off the wall.
