Five piece Melbourne band Zoophyte have created a stir in the Melbourne music scene in recent months, with they laid-back roots and groove tunes. Both live and on record they have managed to blend folk with folk, adding both blues and tribal elements in parts and crowds have warmed to their lively beats. When asked of there recent rise, Cameron Lee, vocalist and guitarist for group answered quite humbly, ‘we still have some way to travel with our sound, but we are having fun, trying new things and are just grateful if handful of people turn up to our gigs to see it.'
