Editorial Reviews
Product Description
Straight outta Barcelona, The Meows really get the fur flyin' on this 13 track ode to kittens-with-claws and real cool cats. The Meows sound is big beat trash n' roll, fueled by slinky 60's fuzz punk guitars, handclaps, and the infectiously rabble-rousing vox of the singularly named Francis, a strutting rock n' roll ego star of considerable charm and flawless delivery. Tracks like the hip-shaking title song, the Sex Pistols-copping 'Don't Burn Baby', the 60's go-go revivalist tambourine abuser 'Hear Me Say', and the stripped down thrill boogie of 'Function At The Junction' and perfect slices of radio ready summertime hits guaranteed to keep the endless party rolling on until September, or until the cops show up, which ever comes first! No Tomorrow (No To). 2005.

The Meows Really Get the Fur Flyin' on this 13 Track Ode to Kittens-with-claws and Real Cool Cats. They're Sorta Like Scandinavian Scenemakers Sweatmaster Or the Flamin' Sideburns; They've Got that Same Kinda All-night Shaker-maker Goodtime Drinkalong Vibe. And Lord Knows, We Need as Much of that as We Can Get These Days. What Really Makes the Meows Stand Out, Though, is their Ability to Write Actual Songs, Two Minute, Hook-heavy Howlers that Melt Right Into Your Brain and Stick There, Like Plastic, Forever.
