This is probably my third favorite BGL CD, right behind my favorite: This Life, and their newest, Shake Them Ghosts (2nd fav). The production is solid and as always, the songwriting is top notch. The only thing missing is the majority of the new band lineup. If you ever get a chance to see these guys live, do it. The CD's are great, but the energy and passion, as well as obviously the sound, live, are as good as a band gets. Being a musician myself, I've had the pleasure of sharing the stage with these guys a couple times, and you just cannot compare the live sound with the CD. But don't get me wrong, ANY GBL fan should add this to their collection.

This album was that kind of album that makes me fells so better after the first contact.All of the lyrics are modern and with pop-rock influences,and blues tunes in a happy way,that reveals the great capacity of this great productor Jim Gaines to be at the right way, in the company of great musicians.G.B. Leighton and his own style will hit the top of any great particular collection.All of the musics touched the soul,specially something like "Trouble with Sophia" like only few other albums done yet!!Great album,Great revelation!!

This is another work of art by G. B. leighton and company. I enjoy everyone of his CD's more and more. Minus seeing him live I recomend owning this or any of his CD's. All music listeners will love the quality of this CD and I would hope pick up at least his live CD to add to their collection. This CD is an A+ in my book.

GB Leighton's "It's All Good" is an upbeat, grooving album. Plenty of catchy tunes that you will be singing along with over and over again. A perfect album to ;isten to when you need some cheering up or to listen to when you are in a good mood.

        This CD, with its high resolution 128 times oversampling technology is better in terms of sound quality than the two previous chesky sampler and test CD. It gives you an idea of what to expect of various chesky artists and their CDs. It's a good CD to have when evaluating a system. Buy it.

        Made in CAN in 1999, Serial# 17712, Playing Time 93:50

        This 2-disc compilation has to be the strangest one I've ever seen: disc 1 is the 1990 "On Flame With Rock And Roll" compilation, while disc 2 is the 1997 "Don't Fear The Reaper" compilation. I mean, they didn't even bother re-labeling the disc themselves for this "new item"!

        The tracks cover BOC's albums up to their 12th album, 1983's "The Revolution By Night", with more focus on the early days. If you have both of the "original" compilations, you can skip this altogether: no booklet, no liner notes; a real "cheap" effort. But if you're unfamiliar with their music, and only know a few songs like "(Don't Fear)The Reaper" and "Burnin' For You", you'll be surprised by the amount of good material this band has written!

        More of the greatest hits of the B-O-C. The songs are great, don't get me wrong. Some executive at their old label wants to bleed the Oyster Boys for all they're worth. My vampire tattoo seal of approval is not on this one. No more compilations of their former glory.

        I'm pretty impressed with the selection of songs they picked for this collection of BOC. They have got the classics like Don't Fear the Reaper, and Godzilla. They also have 3 of my favorites: Death Valley Nights, Nosferatu and Shooting Shark. The sound quality is supposed to be better on the Platnium CD - you will have to judge. But if you are looking to just get into BOC, you should get Workshop Of The Telescopes. It has about 30 songs - basically all the best of what they did except for Imaginos.
