Album Description

1997 Cinevox reissue of Gianfranco's soundtrack to director Edoardo Mulargia's (a.k.a. Edward G. Muller) 1970 western, previously only available on LP & very rare when it was available! Remastered, this CD debut adds the 11:51 long 'Shango La Pistola Infallibile' (Outtakes Suite) as a bonus track. 16 tracks total.

This is a good soundtrack by a relatively unknown composer that was influenced by Ennio Morricone (as were hundreds of other scores from this period) but also by Elmer Bernstein and Jerry Goldsmith as well. It has some very pretty passages; nothing earth shattering, but it works well. If you're a fan of the genre give it a listen. You could do much worse.
