It was the first time Listening to this grand lady named Skeeter Davis. I was amazed at her voice. The tunes sound wonderful. I'm very happy.

I GREATLY ADMIRE BOTH OF THESE ARTIST AND PUTTING THEM TOGETHER SEEMED LIKE A SPLENDID IDEA! I EXPECTED TO BE PLAYING THIS CD OVER AND OVER, BUT TOO MANY OF THE TRACKS COME ACROSS AS BEING.....WELL, HOAKEY. SORRY TO SAY THIS, BUT I CALLS 'EM AS I SEE'S 'EM. I AM TRULY SORRY.

Easy going country classic.......2002-01-12

I didn't like this CD at first. But after repeated listenings I loved it. Just like a friend who grows on you. Skeeter has a good sense of humor (singing The End of the World off key at the end of Everybody Wants a cowboy.) The Duet Heart to Heart is probably my favorite. Why wasn't it a huge hit? Ditto for You don't know what you got til you lose it. This is a fun, cheerful country record. NRBQ is a great band. Skeeter's voice sounded as pure as ever. If you like country you would be hard pressed to find something this good from the likes of Shania or Faith or Garth. Go for the real country, buy this one!

Will Put A Smile On Your Face!.......2000-07-07

This is really one of NRBQ's finest pieces of work. Once again they proved themselves to be the classiest combo in music by really stepping back and letting Skeeter Davis shine. Her duets with Joey, Al, and Terry are a joy and there is just so much warmth and good humor in this collection that it's a pleasure to listen to. A match made in heaven!

A fabulous album of quirkly humorous, utterly heartfelt tunes by one of country music's top greats. For some reason, this release also appears under "Skeeter Davis - Books" read my full review there.
