Therapy?'s sixth studio album is a rather sophisticated proposition. Where the Therapy? of 2000's retrospective, So Much for the Ten Year Plan, was the epitome of heads-down rock, their sixth studio album is, well, different. "Gimme Back My Brain" and the sinister "Stalk & Slash" attack with thundering drums and Andy Cairns's blood-curdling bark, but with the likes of "Dance," "I Am the Money," and "Alright" playing up their Nine Inch Nails ambitions, they've emerged as a world-class metal outfit. It's a menacing makeover, with fantastically clinical production adding an unnerving layer of grime and attitude that makes the otherwise glam-rock pop of "Body Bag Girl" something that would make Marilyn Manson proud.
