The VERY BEST of the teen compilations.......2005-08-01

None of the songs in this compilation was a top ten hit but many should have been. The mastering is well done and on a level with releases by Ace, Bear Family, and Rhino labels. Great attention to details and sonic clarity.

This CD is clean as far as sound goes and the track are fun and interesting for oldies collectors! Seems like more companies are finally for the past 10 years are giving us a treat instead of the mundane POP oldies. A forgotten frontier of the fifties!

Good records, unknown facts.......2000-02-25

Now this is a c.d.anyone can enjoy, not just the freaks. One the other hand, there are some rare tracks on it, like The Beach Boys under a different name, Buddy Holly playing guitar with an unknown Cricket-like band, Paul Simon as early doowopper, also under a different name. And even if you know all this, there are surpises for you among the 30! tracks. Doowop and teenybopper stuff at its best!
