    5 out of 5 stars It's pretty wonderful.......2005-09-27

This, along with the PC game, is a definite masterpiece. All the sounds are soothing and atmospheric, taking you to distant, calm places. The PC game IS that world, enabling you to discover dozens of wondeful places; crystal caverns, deep seas...

All in all I recommend this to anybody who realizes that synthesizers don't make music bad, but instead enhance it.

5 out of 5 stars Both the quality of recording and music are excellently.......2005-04-18

I very love this album. Both the quality of recording and music are excellently. Mike played the guitar with abundant thinking. I can feel the music belong to a man who has a crowded life.

My wife doesn't like Mike Oldfield's music. But she loves this album exceptionally.

1 out of 5 stars what happened to Mike?.......2003-10-09

This is his weakest album ever since.even on his weak albums he wrote some tunes that were stayig in head more than 1 hour.here all songs are boring and sleepy...after 3 listenings you can't remember any catchy or nice riff (maybe except sweet "Return to origin").saimple and unoriginal new-age music.perfect for listening in expensive hotel elevators

1 out of 5 stars What a lack of variety............2003-10-01

ehmm...this is a horrible second league new age.i loved Mike for TUBULAR BELLS,FIVE MILES OUT and INCANTATIONS,this one is just a boring and annoying synth-programmed-electronic music without any special ideas.Mike eats his own tail.sorry, better record TUBULAR BELLS 4

2 out of 5 stars big step down from his previous works.......2003-09-29

this is synthetic and boring instrumental music with horrible Saxophone (as somebody mentioned too before) and lakc of good ideas.the only songs that are reminding of what Oldfield did the best few years ago are "return to Origin" and title track which have charming guitar riffs and are relaxing.the rest (and the PC game as well) are only an unoriginal and repeating new-age stuff that everyone could do on their own Computer.
this is not what should be expected from Mike Oldfield
2 stars for "return to origin" (really good song)

      5 out of 5 stars Brilliant.......2002-08-31

Just one word sums this latest Oldfield offering Brilliant! Pay the extra to get the interactive Tres Lunas Game CD.....

4 out of 5 stars Good news for Oldfield fans.......2002-08-28

And maybe bad news for people who haven't been into Oldfield for years? Fact is, that I'd say fans would get more out of Oldfield's latest offering.

To me it sounds like this is the album he's been working towards since 1990. It resembles Sounds of distant Earth, it has a bit of Voyager in there and quite a bit of Tubular Bells III - it takes the best from those three albums and puts forth what I expect will be a new classic. It's challenging, definately, because it's a bit off the beaten Oldfield track but if you give it the chance it surely deserves I'm sure it'll open up to most listeners.

Packaging and design is cutting edge as is the Music RV game that comes as a bonus disc...
