The Nifty Nineties .......2007-04-05
This a great mix of 1990's songs! Lots of great stuff, and none of the fluff!
Where are all the ground breaking Artists!!!!! 2 and a half stars!! im being generous!.......2006-06-04
this cd managed to pick out one hit wonder songs. but how about smashing pumpkins, nirvana, or pearl jam even!!!!??? im also a 70's baby so my highlights of high school were goin to irving plaza right after school, to see great bands like stp,nirvana,rage....... these bands made an impact on the 90's era of alternative scene!
i hope someone truly comes together with at least a double cd of nothing but great stuff... until then ill be listening to my old cds.
Basic Memory Lane.......2006-05-07
These are really great songs if you remember them or just want some older Alternative rock.
However, how in the world can they make a 90's compilation and not include the band Bush?? Actually, No Doubt was also a radio airwave favorite before they went too R&B.
This compilation is sadly lacking some major moments from the 90's, and a couple of songs on there I vaguely remember hearing, but don't really stand out enough to put them on a CD suming up a decade of great music.
Good Start.......2004-10-26
Definately a good start for a 90s collection. Afew that the other review didnt mention as missing that I felt i should point out : Matchbox 20, Third Eye Blind, Incubus, and Fuel. Then the hundreds of bands that nobody remembers...
Sorry.......2004-05-31
Sorry, but you can't say "90's Rock" without Green Day... nice try though.

One of the best various artists CDs available........2002-10-13
I was surprised at how good this album was. It's one of very few various artists CDs I don't mind letting play all the way through. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is that it includes a song by Marcy Playground yet nothing from The Black Crowes. Seems to me it should have been the other way around.
Great CD........2001-08-10
This music brings back a lot of good memories, from that awkward time in music between hair bands and Seattle grunge. About half of the songs are truly worthless and I don't know how they made it onto a CD like this, but the other half are gems and make the CD worth owning. In my opinion, Pearl Jam's "Even Flow" and Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit" (or at least one of their other songs) should have at least receieved an honorable mention.
Quality and Quantity.......2001-06-28
First off, I don't know what they mean by "Non Stop," since there are breaks between each of the songs. Which is a good thing in my opinion, but I wasn't sure what to expect given the title.
As for the music, you should have heard at least a few of these songs before. If you haven't, then this CD probably isn't for you, although I encourage you to listen to a few of the samples. And if you don't like the songs that you do recognize, then you probably won't care for the CD.
While some songs are, of course, better than others, this is a fairly even collection of "mainstream" alternative music. The kind that falls between the annoyingly pop end of the alternative spectrum and the even more annoying heavy end. In other words, it's good music. It's one of the few CDs that I can listen to nonstop (maybe that's what they meant by the title). I wouldn't have chosen all of these songs (especially "Save Tonight," which grows old fast), but this is a solid disc whose value lies in the number of quality songs on it.
