Wonderfully done!!!! " No fault" will transport you to the unjust trial of the Lord Jesus before Pilate as though you are an eyewitness. "You can't run" will instantly lift your spirit and have you dancing before the Lord. Every track is great!!! Keep it up, Lee!

I have this title on DVD/CD it's really awesome and spirit filled. Lee Williams and the QC'S are really giving God the Praise. The audience is on fire and the live performance is just moving. I'd suggest buying it both ways one to look at at home and one to play while driving. Beleive me it is worth buying and adding to your collection.

I am a 26 years old. I am also married, and have a son. I am totaly into Lee Williams and the Q C's. There music will have you so uplifted that can't nobody come and take your joy. I have also been to alot of their concerts, and traveling sometimes 3 and 4 hours just to see them, and it is so worth it. Everyone should have a Lee Williams and Q C's cd with them. This album is awesome as everything this group does. There is not a day that goes by that I do not listen to at least one song by this group. Lee Williams has put in words what is in my heart. And "Child of God," if YOU really were, you would know not to judge and if this man is not Annointed, who is?? The power that comes from him, standing in one spot, is nothing less than a blessing from God. No one is perfect and I doubt anybody will try to claim such. Remember, Jesus did not come for the righteous, but so that sinners can be saved. We all fall short somewhere. We are all entitled to our opinions, but when you are talking about someone's connection to God, only God knows. Lee Williams and the Spiritual QC's have touched hearts all over the world and have led me to read many scriptures on account of listening to his songs and the stories about Jonah, Daniel, Moses, etc. and that's just me, you do not know what God has called him to do, so be careful how you judge. Lee Williams and the Spirituals have helped me in praising my God and I can only pray they never stop. God bless you too..........

This is a great album even though it isn't the best from Lee Williams! Yet how do you continue to out do yourself over and over anyway? Considering all their home runs this is still a slam dunk! Lee Williams and The Spiritual QC's have done it again! This dynamic group has nothing to prove to anyone but they do what they do and do it well! I enjoy the entire CD and my first picks are "God's Got A Blessing", "Jesus Rose", "Call Him Jesus" and "Glad To Be Here". Songs lead by other group members demonstrate a beautiful bond between the QC's. Keep it up!

A quartet with a nu flava.......2000-01-11

This is a great CD, I was not a Cantons fan until I listened to this CD. The Canton are not your normal quartet group, this CD shows how the canton sing the traditional down-home gospel with a new up-to-date swing. This CD also shows how the Cantons works with other gospel artists like Melvin Williams of the Williams Brothers. I recommend this CD not only for older adults but for young people like myself who don't normally listen to traditonal gospel.

Céline Shines in this Memphis Concert.......1999-12-28

I have just finished watching `Live in Memphis,' and it is unbelievable. You won't find Céline sing better anywhere else besides on stage. When you put her in front of an audience, she becomes alive and can belt out a song with more charisma, emotion, energy and personality than you could ever imagine. Céline certainly is the star of the music world. Us here in the U.S. are lucky enough to know Céline, the French- Canadian international superstar. She's finally recorded a concert for us, this one in Memphis, TN. This video is sure to fascinate any Céline fan, or just anyone! Céline has the greatest dance moves... while watching this video I found it IMPOSSIBLE to sit down! It's also worth mentioning that she's not ignorant about the people behind her voice. She recognizes all of her talented background musicians in an original, unforgettable ballad. The video includes 19 of Céline's biggest hits, plus a rocking performance of 'Twist and Shout!' - Which is exactly what you'll be doing when you listen to the other songs on the video; which include `Power of Love,' `Because You Loved Me,' and `To Love You More' (with the brilliant violinist, Taro Hakase,) to name a few. Buying this video is the best investment you could make! And take it from me... I'm someone who knows. I'm a longtime Céline fan and have to go now, because I want to watch this video again!

A Very Good Live Album.......2006-10-09

I bought this album in 1988 on cassette and it still plays excellent.
This is Elvis' next to last LIVE album and it stands up on its own still today. Performed at the Mid-South in Memphis, Elvis is in fine voice for this concert, the band and the back-up singers keep everything extremely tight. By 1974 Elvis had added additional singers in a group he called VOICE, which created amazing vocals. On this album Elvis has included a great song list, which he does "Elvis style" giving them a distinctive sound. I have listened to several Elvis concerts (on the all Elvis satellite radio) that he performed after this particular show, and you really start to notice the change in his performances. Elvis is at his best during this show, and he sounds like he is having a great time performing.

This concert was recorded live, right here in the Mid-South Coliseum, in Elvis' hometown, Memphis, Tennessee........2007-01-03

This concert album was recorded live March 20, 1974 in Memphis. It was Elvis' fifth live album, not counting albums that were partially live. The entire concert is not on this CD, but the whole concert has recently been released on a different CD. I would call this an average Elvis concert. There are several songs that have been on too many concert albums; like "See See Rider", "I Got a Woman", "Love Me", "An American Trilogy" and of course "Can't Help Falling in Love". The highlights of this CD are the gospel songs, which always brought out the best in Elvis. He performed three of them this time around; "How Great Thou Art" (always a powerful performance), "Help Me" (he had recently recorded this song, this is the first live recording) and "Why Me Lord" (first recording of this song, J.D. Sumner sings the verses and Elvis sings the chorus). This album also includes Elvis' first recording of "Let Me Be There", which was Olivia Newton-John's first big hit. I might mention that the Loggins & Messina hit "Your Mama Don't Dance" is part of the "Rock and Roll Medley", but the King only sings a tiny portion of that song. One final thing worth mentioning; the piano player plays the intro to "I Can't Stop Loving You" and Elvis sings "Blueberry Hill" instead, just to be funny (he does soon switch over to "I Can't Stop Loving You"). If you really want this concert on CD, you'll probably want the complete show instead of this one, but that is an expensive import.

3 1/2 Stars: His Best 70's Live Recording.......2005-05-28

This oft-ignored album, recorded in March 1974 at Memphis's Midsouth Coliseum (formerly the center of controversy when the proposed title, the Elvis Presley Coliseum, was poo-pooed), is easily his strongest live package of the '70s, the one worth having. Elvis is in exceptional vocal form and, between all the stuff that showed up on every other live album of the period, there is a great "Trying To Get To You" and strong versions of "My Baby Left Me" and "Lawdy, Miss Clawdy," material he otherwise left unnoticed. - by Neal Umphred, AMG

Yet again Dottie Peoples has made a mark in the gospel world I was there at the live recording in Memphis and when Edna Tatum came to the stage I thought she was going to talk forever but never did I know that she would deliver such an inspirational message and then when the Live In Memphis dvd came out I found myself playing that video over and over again, though I do watch the other videos but this Narrative was amazing she had the whole church on their feet and so did Dottie Peoples with the song "He Said It" and "Never Alone"

A Shouting Good-Time .......2005-07-27

I was at the live recording and was concerned that the incredible roof-raising and soul stirring atmosphere would not fully be captured on the cd. My concerns were totally unfounded. This cd is traditional gospel at its best. Dottie Peoples certainly personifies the title as "Songbird of the South" and her collaboration with Rev. Frank Ray Sr. on "Old Landmark" will launch you into a shouting good time.

Must Have For Edna Tatum Fans.......2005-07-21

Even though this is Dottie Peoples cd, I have found myself playing Edna Tatum's narration to "Never Alone" Over and over again. If you enjoy Dottie Peoples then you should get this cd. However, if you want the full affect, then get the dvd

Dynamic Sounds of Praises Coming From Memphis.......2005-06-17

This work of art is one of the BEST that I've heard from Dottie Peoples. I had the pleasure of attending the live recording at my church (New Salem Missionary Baptist Church). They rocked the house from beginning to end. There's not a song on this CD that doesn't keep me moving. The guest artists were just AWSOME! (Rev. Gerald Thompson, Angela Spivey, Shea Norman and More.) And my pastor Rev. Frank E. Ray, Sr. who had the house on its feet while singing the "Old Landmark". WAY TO GO!!!!!! Dottie way to go and please come back to Memphis and New Salem for Round 2.

I personally think that the Canton Spirituals are the best gospel group by far. I have been listening to there music since I was about ten and I am now eighteen. I suggest that everyone who loves good down south singing get any of there cds. Harvey is such an inspirational man and I pray that he keeps putting out good music for his fans.

I truly love the Canton Spirituals........1999-03-11

I wish that the Canton Spiritual would come to San Diego for a concert. I would be the first to buy a ticket. I have all three of their videos and I am anxiously awaiting the next video to come out. Their music is truly moving and heart felt if you truly have Jesus in your heart. Some please let me know as soon as a new video is released.

Why does it say CD-Single? This is an album! Not a single. The songs are just long.
But, anyway, this is a great album for those who love hip hop. Dibbs doesn't prove himself to be an innovator of any sort on this album. It's the usual DJ routine, using many familiar loops and breaks. Don't expect the mind-bending genius of DJ's like Shadow or El-P, however, do expect a very enjoyable album. While Dibbs doesn't bring the innovation, he does make the same old thing exciting and fun to listen to again. Definitely recommended.

Oh man this is good!!! Buy this album and play it over and over again. If you liked Turntable Scientifics, you'll love this as well. Mr. Dibbs is one of the greatest dj's around. Oh, and notice the introduction of Mr. Dibbs by none other than Sole, "Give it up for my man Rubber Nipples". This is hip hop.

I have had this on cassette since it came out and was disappointed to see the CD is missing the last 2 songs, Ellie and Trying To Live My Life Without You, which add up to more than 20 minutes. The music that remains is top-rate.

Otis Clay sings in front of a devoted Japanese audience and gives the performance of his life. He sticks to the style that made him - raw, passionate, Southern-style soul that sounds like it was born in Memphis. His intense singing shows his gospel roots with His Precious Love included on this disc. Other highlights include Holding On To A Dying Love, and the O.V. Wright song, A Nickel And A Nail. This collection is an excellent overview of his hits. It was recorded in 1983 and has the core of the band that backed up Al Green in the 70's. A good place to start if you're new to Otis Clay. There's no one like him!
