I love the Samurai type music, absolutly love it, i am a beat freak as they call it and this is the best yet!

Most of the tracks on this CD make pretty pointless listening outside of the context of the actual show. The songs that play over the opening and ending credits ("Battlecry" and "Song of the Seasons" respectively) are pretty catchy, and that's why I bought the CD, but the rest of the tracks feel like filler drum loops in comparison.

I've been a fan of Samurai Champloo for a while now, so I kinda knew what to expect from the soundtrack. It's great to hear the full length songs, when on the show, you only get a 10- 15 sec. snippet. I do live sound in a Jazz club, and play the soundtrack during set breaks, and all the time people are asking me what I'm playing. If you like "chill out" or downtempo I would highly recommend it.

Well, what else! If you like Samurai Champloo on TV, it's also thx to the music! And when you'll listen to the soundtrack, you'll remember the fun to have seen SC, and it's really nice to remember...

Wow, this is album is wonderful. I got hooked on to the cd when I first heard " Battle Cry". Everything else is great well produced album if you love hiphop, soul, and r&b. I also recommend picking up Samurai Champloo: Impression.

    Good soundtrack! Very Good, but not as good as Cowboy Bebop. I think Yoko Kanno is the best anime music composer I've ever heard!
