Disney has come to dominate the next-gen practice of pasting crowd pleasers into its soundtracks, and so it goes with Raven. Which, in this case, was a particularly wise move. Raven's contributions to these songs "from and inspired by" her tween-targeted TV show are fine, but don't go much farther. So instead of bumping the star's first two thumping, pop-slick tracks against Cheryl Lynn's disco classic "To Be Real," this disc's producers inserted a warm-up: Jesse McCartney's "Beautiful Soul" serves as a pleasant-enough buffer between manufactured music and the real, rip-roaring deal. Later, Des'ree's sophisticated "You Gotta Be" offsets Jump5's frantic futzing about on its cover of "We Are Family," continuing the high-low split. Sliced in are straight-outta-Kidz Bop anthems "Ultimate" and "There's Gotta Be (More to Life)," but ultimately we're returned to Raven, who holds her own but has reason to feel self-conscious about singing, for the second time, a song called "Supernatural" (a nod to her TV character's psychic gifts, but still). If the music scores a collective B minus, the package gets an A for extras: A bonus DVD has four Raven music videos, and the CD also works as a "special message" CD-ROM. --Tammy La Gorce

The best thing about That's So Raven Too! may be that it's not really so Raven after all. Instead of this being an all-Ms.-Symone-all-the-time affair--something only dyed-in-the-wool Raven-ites, if such a tribe exists, could handle--we get the same pleasant dice-up the original disc doled out. That means a pinch of Jesse McCartney ("She's No You," remixed), a dash of Aretha Franklin ("Respect"), and a drizzle of the usual Disney suspects, including the enduringly appealing Aly & AJ ("Walking on Sunshine"), Orlando Brown ("Will it Go Round in Circles"), and B5 (who get busy, and get the nod for concocting a surprisingly good track, with "Let's Groove"). Again, Raven's not going to win critical raves for her slicker-than-vinyl vocal stylings here--they're too canned for that. But by ending with the "B.F.F. Mix" of "Some Call It Magic," the former Cosby kid ratchets up the go-girl, friends-to-the-end charm. And what could be more Raven than that? --Tammy La Gorce

1 out of 5 stars Boring!!!!.......2007-07-05

This is the most boringest CD ever. I only like to listen to "Some Call It Magic" and "Jump In". But other than that, ZzZzZzZzzzzzzzzzzz

5 out of 5 stars awesome .......2007-04-10

I love this cd my favorite songs are is a day in the sun and Some call it magic.

4 out of 5 stars Raven's a rave for my little fan.......2007-01-09

I bought this CD for my 11 year old. While making a road trip I put it in so I could see what it was like and enjoyed it very much. It's very good in it's content in that it doesn't have anything controversial or inappropriate. There were some songs that were remakes from my growing up which was a surprise to her that I knew the words. This CD is good for any young girl.

3 out of 5 stars Love Raven, and "That's So Raven Too!".......2007-01-01

The hit Disney Channel series "That's So Raven", is back with the "That's So Raven Too!" soundtrack. Raven's song "Jump In" is awesome, and I love that I can dance to it!

4 out of 5 stars Not the best, but..................2006-12-02

not the best from Raven, I would have to say her first TV soundtrack was better than this, she still did a pretty good job. I love the song Some Call it Magice from her! Jump In isn't too bad either. Annelisa should have a CD out! she is so good in A Day In The Sun. I don't know why, but i like Orlando's Will it GO 'Round in Circles?! He sounded so stupid in Super Cali from Disney Mania 4, but i like this song and the way he sang. He wasnt' trying to rap, so he sounded better. Respect is too boring, so is I can See Clearly Now. I think the remixes werer a little wack too. Friends, what happened to just singing!?!?! Raven and Annelisa talk like, 90% of the time durining the song and Raven just sounds awful trying to sound cool like a rapper. And that song that Raven and Orlando sing together, so boring. i don't even remember what the heck it's called!

But overall, i would give this a B- out of an A+

3 out of 5 stars "That's So the Coolest Raven" CD!.......2007-01-01

"That's So Raven" is an amazing soundtrack. I love Raven's voice, she sings amazingly. All Raven songs are good, and the rest of the soundtrack is all right (it's not really that good). I am Raven's biggest fan, but not of this soundtrack.

5 out of 5 stars raven.......2006-12-02

5 out of 5 stars ~~~BUY THIS NOW! (And you'll be greatly satisfied!)~~~.......2006-06-15

This is Raven's #1 CD. I think it is appropiate for all ages, because it incudes songs from the 70s, and regular Raven songs. The songs are spunky, fun, original, exciting, entertaining, and wonderfully enjoyable to listen to daily. You never get tired of the song tracks! This album is fun for the entire family! You'll find it irresistable to NOT dance, and will find your dad boogying to it too!

5 out of 5 stars Great.......2006-06-12

This is a GREAT cd but, not as good as That's So Raven Too! cd!! My faverite songs are Shine, Supernatural, That's so raven theme song and You gotta be!

    5 out of 5 stars talented girl.......2004-05-19

On the bouns DVD there were 4 of Raven's videos, THAT'S SO RAVEN(VIDEO), SUPERSITION, GRAZZING IN THE GRASS, and TRUE TO YOUR HEART. When I saw the 'Supersition' video all the clips from 'the haunted manshion' movie were cut out. In the video for the 'Raven theme song' video it was cut short. 'Grazzing in the grass' was left juusst fine. In 'True to your heart' they show her in the studio recording it for the disneymania2 cd witch I also have and also love that song. I can't wait when Raven's 3rd new solo album comes out in the fall.
