I wasn't expecting to have 4 discs for this price, and the music is a quality selection of film music, giving a good scope of the genre, and a very listenable transfer.

This collection is bound to capture your heart and evoke a tin ear on successive tracks. I found much to like and some duds - easy to skip over.

For the price, this CD is a great bargain. The musical selections, as you might expect, are mixed in quality ranging from extraordinary to so so, the balance being worthwhile and interesting. Sonically the CD is excellent.

I have been listening to great scores for many years and this collection is truly inspirational in so far as the choice of different scores takes you on a journey of listening pleasure matched by only a few collections.The price is incredibly reasonable for hours of listening pleasure. Don't pass this one up

Get this for that track alone, it makes you remember the pain from the movie. I also was hoping to hear Nara on this CD, but it is not here. If it was, this would be a 5-star album.

There's something very hypnotic about the music of Jan Kazmarek. It's very lonely and haunting. Love it!

Sad and intense.......2005-10-18

I bought this CD because I really loved the theme written by Jan AP Kaczmarek. There is a lot of piano, and even a wonderful piano variation piece as well. There are also lush strings and a vocal piece (Silence) with some percussion reminiscient of John Cage. I love the sadness and intensity of this music. It completely fits the atmosphere of the movie...sad, desperate, intense and even obsessive. It is also quite simple, which I think only adds to its beauty. One of my favorite scores.

Not what I thought.......2005-08-16

This Soundtrack is orginal music only. I bought the CD looking for a blues song that was played during a love making scene in the movie. It was not on the soundtrack. I thought that the music on this CD was dull and boring.

Radiohead?.......2005-04-14

I think this whole album is great. Although.... I listened to it in search of the Piano version of a Radiohead song I heard in the movie. It is a song from Radiohead's OK COMPUTER. I am unable to find it on this soundtrack and I REALLY LOVED IT! I'm hoping I overlooked it and someone can tell me what # is is or where to find it. jhenmiller@gmail.com THANKS
