Romeo Must Die: The Album [Edited Version] [Soundtrack]
Editorial Reviews

Fittingly--she stars in the action flick with Jet Li--Aaliyah shines the brightest on the R&B- and hip-hop-filled soundtrack of Romeo Must Die. The new "Try Again" echoes the combo of heartfelt vocals and brain-grabbing production that marked her earlier triumph "Are You That Somebody?" while her duet with DMX, "Come Back in One Piece," continues the trend of songs built on sensible female-to-male-gangsta advice. Aside from Aaliyah's two other cuts, the rest of the disc is uneven; Chante Moore's "This Is a Test" ("I gotta take you to school / Be there at nine o'clock") and Dave Bing's "Somebody Gonna Die Tonight" rank in the high end of the remains. --Rickey Wright

Help Me Looking For a Missing Song- Good Soundtrack.......2007-03-23
I love the movie and the soundtrack, but there is this one kind of techno song that I liked allot, when jet li's brother pulls up to the night club in his Aston Martin. If anyone can help me out with this one please do.
Other than Aaliyah and Timberland............2005-09-01
this album is not good at all! Aaliyah shines on ALL her songs... especially I don't Wanna and Try Again. I also love DMX and Aaliyah's song Come Back in One Piece and her song Are you feeling me.
Timberland and Magoo's song is pretty good We at it again. Destiny Child's song is okay but the lyrics are quite weak.
It seems no one gave their best effort except Aaliyah and it shows. Get this if you are an Aaliyah fan like me. I only bought this for I Don't Wanna and Come Back in One piece that weren't on her greatest hits CD!
Favs: Try Again, COme BAck in One Peice, I don't wanna, and We at it again!
missing song!!.......2004-12-15
the first song on the soundtrack should be "DMX- First Im Guna Crawl". that was the song playing durring the opening credits. why wasnt it put on the soundtrack?
It's Alright. Aaliyah and Joe make this one worth buying!.......2004-05-29
It was not a great soundtrack in my view but the performances of Aaliyah with "Try Again", "Back In One Piece" and "I Don't Wanna" (which also appeares on the "Next Friday" soundtrack as well) along with Joe's "Rose In A Concrete World" makes this one worth getting! The other songs rate from stinkers to listenable.
Aaliyah Shines!.......2004-01-13
Aaliyah shines the most on this soundtrack, her beautiful candy-coated voice melts over all these great songs. I Don't Wanna is my favorite track on the album which showcases her as an extremely sexy and soulful artist. You Have 2 Get This Soundtrack!
