Yes, It Is Worth $75!.......2005-12-28

Ok...so the price Amazon claims isn't that reasonable, but I'd still pay that much for this CD. Final Fantasy IX has, in my opinion, the best music of the series, even if it may not be the best game. My favorite tracks are "A Place To Call Home" and "Not Alone," both off the first disc. The later tracks, like in all FF games, suffer from being mainly remixed versions of the first songs, which is why I gave it a 4 star rating. Still, if you're a fan of the Final Fantasy series, this is pretty much a must have. If you're having difficulty finding a copy, iTunes has all the FF music available now, which is where I got most of the songs I have now.

This soundtrack is another one for a Classic RPG. Bring on the Thieves! I loved FF IX and the music therefore I had to get the soundtrack. It's worthy every penny!

Excellent Soundtrack.......2005-10-03

This is my first purchase of a soundtrack for any game, and I must say that I am pleased. The artist's rendition of the characters brings about a new perspective that adds realism to the game. Also, the music is amazing. The bonus tracks (Commercial 15 and Commercial 30 and Harmonic Melodies of Life) are very well done. If it were a bit more durable, I wouldn't complain; the CD case has already broken. However, the CDs still play, and I still love it!

Final Fantasy IX is not only the best FF but the best game ever! Along with the game, the music is superb! Disk one has great songs but has a little more happy feeling to it, but disk 2 switchs over to the destruction that's going on in the game, so it's still pefect. Then disk 3 goes to the angest and the action feelings that's when the game gets really serious so it's still great! Then disk 4. It has the low a bit depressing music for a part in the game that it just fits soooo well you don't mind that it's a little depressing. And then it ends with the happy tune where the second main character Dagger is running out to the main character Zidane when she finds out he's actually alive, it just makes it so dramatic that it almost makes you cry. This soundtrack is the best game soundtrack you will ever find, and it's defaintly worth the money.
