I buy very few videogame soundtracks, this is perhaps the seventh, and sits right next to the Panzer Dragoon Saga (or Azel) soundtrack.

Though it wasn't immediately evident during gameplay, this soundtrack has proven to be not only more varied in theme than Saga/Azel, but many of the tracks really come into their own isolated from the game.

I am very impressed with this CD, which comes with 3 bonus songs in the U.S. version. Track 19 is the title song from the original Panzer Dragoon, which I never knew is 5 minutes long, not the 3 minutes you here from the game's title screen.

I've been a big fan of the Panzer Dragoon series for a while now, and was always saddened by its demise after the fall of the Saturn. With the addition to this new chapter however, I was at first skeptical. Although I haven't actually played the game yet, despite me already owning it and not an X-Box (I did the same with the original and the saturn!), I do have the soundtrack, and I must say, it is wonderful! I've heard the game is quite good as well, and I do think that you shouldn't hesitate to purchase both! A wonderful bonus is the additional tracks to all the prevous games, especially the main theme to PD 1. If you're already a fan to this series, you should without a doubt answer to "buy this now!" only with the response of "Denna!"

I don't have the actual CD, but after hearing this music in the game, I can say it will stand as legendary. The music flows through your very soul, grabbing you. I'm not kidding. The pure orchestral tunes are beautiful, and the game's theme song, "Anu Orta Veniya", is majestic in the aural pleasure it delivers. You can only imagine my joy when I heard there was a CD filled with this music. Buy this CD now.
