About the Artist
21 year-old Killian James aka "Buddy Klein" was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina. Buddy made a name for himself on the streets of Raleigh with the independently released EP "Life behind Bars" (as in musical bars) which became a Raleigh street classic selling over 10,000 copies.

Buddy Klein was chosen from hip-hop's underground by Vin Diesel to write and record this special album produced by Jeruz, who recently signed a multi-track deal with 50 Cent's G Unit Records. "Buddy Klein had an energy. He represents an angst that's a real part of this film. His story and music are authentic," says Diesel. Diesel also produced the music video for the title track, "Nothing To Lose," which aired on both MTV "Jams" and BET "Rap City."

I heard Nothing to Lose on the radio and they were talking about how Vin Diesel gave Buddy Klein a break and everything and I was kinda skeptical. Then I bought the CD.... Kid is nice--no doubt about it. My favorite track is Starboy but they all are hot and the freestyle is raw as[heck]. You can get a little more info on him using this link:
