The Banger Sisters [Soundtrack]
Editorial Reviews

For a movie focused on the lives of two adult women who were groupies during the golden age of classic rock, it's the modern artists on the Banger Sisters soundtrack that steal the show. Buckcherry snarl and spit their way through spirited punk romp "Crushed"; Black Crowes vocalist Chris Robinson pours his heart out on a soulful piano-brushed 1970s rock emulation; and Ben Folds's Jackson Browne cover bounces with warm pop nimbleness. Vintage rockers fare rather well, too, especially ex-Yes guitarist Trevor Rabin's prog rock-meets-ethereal world music Animals cover, Peter Frampton's guitar acrobatics, and Steppenwolf's gritty hip-shaking. The only real eyesore here is Tommy Lee's abysmal take on David Bowie's "Fame," a stuttering rap-aggro-electro amalgamation that sounds like a robot falling apart at the seams. Otherwise, for fans of classic rock--or modern spins on the originals--the Banger Sisters soundtrack won't disappoint. --Annie Zaleski

Does anyone know?.......2005-06-03
Hey people's, At the end of the movie there is the song that repeats the words "Show me the way" Who could it be? I Need it. Thank You!
Great tunes!.......2004-11-28
I can't explain how much I loved this movie; the actors/actresses, the wardrobe, the tunes! oh my! The tunes! They were great! However I DO have one itsy bitsy question. For the life of me, I can't find the artist nor the title of the song that they were playing once the ladies came back from the club and Goldie asked Susan if she'd been to Paris where Jim is. Immediately after, there were a few flashback scenes. If you guys can help me on this matter, I would greatly appreciate it!
A Song That's Not On The Soundtrack.......2004-07-10
To Lita19 and anyone else...I'm also trying to find out what a song is that was playing when Goldie Hawn and Susan Sarandon went into the club, but it was playing before "Burning Down the House", not after it. It didn't sound hippy-ish either, more like progressive rock. If anyone knows what it is, please e-mail me at cynsunshine@hotmail.com. Thanks.

Another answer to your question.......2004-06-06
Hi Lita19
The song Morning Dew (walk me out in the morning dew) was originally sung by the Grateful Dead. It is on their 1967 album called "Grateful Dead". Robert Plant also sang it. The one is the movie is the Grateful Dead version, which is still the best.
Answer to your song question...........2004-05-03
Hey, Lita19...I know exactly which song you're talking about! I heard it for the first time during this movie and fell in love! I just had to track it down. It's called Morning Dew by Robert Plant. Unfortunately it's not on the soundtrack, but hopefully this info will help you find it elsewhere.
