Scary movie rocks.......2002-05-10

Scary movie is a grate sound track. I like too cule for school, The only way to be, Punk song 2, Everybody wants you & My bad. Its made up of lots songs that you cant get anywhere els & hard rock.I havent got it yet, but I listend to the samples & I think its a rilly good CD. Every day I go online & listen to the samples over & over agen. Im the killer {killer rap} & Scary movie's {sequal} & superfly are cool to. As mutch as I herd about it, I just have to say: its a rilly good CD.

I loved Scary Movie and it had some fun music. So I went out and bought the soundtrack and I wasn't disappointed. This baby didn't leave my CD player for at least a month after I bought it. If you like "fun" music then get this CD, it's full of "fun" music. Perfect to listen to in your car or the shower or when you are feeling goofy or need some cheering up. The CD is just so much fun. A very good soundtrack.

It featured all the songs I was looking for and the overall soundtrack was very good so I must go with ***** of *****...

I haven't bought the CD yet but I have just watched the movie and I think the killer-rap is terrific!! I also like Too Cool for school, when doofy drives off. Anyway, i just wanted to say that it's probably a really good CD

Missing Song.......2000-12-23

Hey, you guys obvoiusly got ahold of the screener version of this movie, which was released before all the soundtrack and score could be finalized. The song is Inside out by Eve 6 (its off their first CD...)

Song Missing?? Please Help!!.......2000-12-13

It appears that this soundtrack does not include a song from the the version of the movie I saw. At the end of the movie when Doofy drives off a song plays that is not on the soundtrack. (The song seems to have the words "oblivion" and "oragami" in the lyrics.) In fact, it is not the song that plays on the DVD version of the movie either. I think the version of the movie I saw might be an alternative version, I don't know. Does anyone know the name and artist of this song. (This post and the Oct. 10 post might be talking about the same song??) Thanks in advance

Scary Music, Scarily Misrepresented.......2006-11-05

"Scary Music" is not scary at all. In fact, it labors under a false title--it should be described as vacuous pop music for equally vacuous films. With the exceptions of the Carlos music and one short piece and the (poorly formatted transfer to CD) theme music for "Silence of the Lambs," this CD is awash in banality. Bad investment. Don't buy.

This soundtrack is good. However, this soundtrack is quite scary as I go track by track. Overall, this is a recommended soundtrack. The sound is so explosive.

John Carpenter's own music for his Escape from L.A., Halloween, and Vampires is versatile and atmospherically pleasing. David Cronenberg is represented twice and in two distinctively different styles, as Michael Kamen's creepy orchestra for The Dead Zone contrasts with Howard Shore's metallic and darkly romantic strains for Crash. I love this CD. The renditions of each selection is top rate. Especially Psycho and For the Last Time We'll Play(from the movie Carrie).
I'm a home haunter. That means I haunt my yard for Halloween. I begin making my halloween projects in June and this CD is the perfect accompaniment to get me in the mood. Highly recommended!
