Get It Straight.......2006-05-26
Several reviews here complain that there are no tracks by Sheryl Crow nor other artists who had songs on this "soundtrack." If you are looking for a song soundtrack, look elsewhere; this CD is a compilation of tracks from the SCORE. Of course there won't be songs by other artists! Get it straight: score = instrumental.
Now, sometimes there MIGHT be additional songs, but don't complain when the CD is specifically labeled for the score. (And it's an awesome one at that.)
white bliss.......2005-10-08
a great soundtrack with haunting vibes, but pure heaven. it pieces the movie very well as one.
if someone is interested in dance, there is a song by Jakatta ft. Seal called "My Vision" that has the theme song intertwined in it. very good song!!!!
Other Music in the film........2004-08-27
Just thought that this list of the other tracks in the film( not featured on the soundtrack) might help:
Bucwhead: "Why'd They Make Me Bang"
Burning Brides "Plank Of Fire"
Sheryl Crow "Safe and Sound"
Tim Easton "Black Hearted Ways"
Girls Against Boys: "One Perfect Thing"
Liars Inc"What's Inside Me"
Leslie Mills "The Good Life"
The Promise Ring "Happy Hour"
Strike Anywhere "S.S.T."
Tupinikings "Menina D'Agua"
Vibrolux "Bang Bang"
Excellent.......2004-01-31
I honestly, in my opinion, think this is a greatly compopsed cd, and really think it is worth every penny. It doesn't matter if you're in the worst mood, this is guaranteed to get you out of it!
I agree, Where is Sheryl Crow's Safe and Sound?.......2004-01-12
If they use a song by an artist, especially to open or close the movie, then a deal exists somewhere, that the artist was paid for their song to be used and should be included on the soundtrack. I was very disappointed when I couldn't find "Safe and Sound" by Sheryl Crow. I didn't buy the soundtrack. If you can't put the most memorable songs on the soundtrack, which evoke the feeling of the movie all over again when you listen to it, what's the point?
