5 out of 5 stars dont read rad rad brad the metal god, cuz he is wrong!!!!!!!.......2005-05-20

people, people, people. grunge, there is not one element of grunge on this cd. i am a lover of the style, but regardless, there is no grunge. the goo goo dolls, the junk monkeys, chubb rock, jhonny law, friends, you cant go wrong here, this cd is awesome. all of these songs not only kick ass, but if you have watched the flick, it will remind you of the movie it's self. i relize that its '05, and this disk did come out in the early 90's, it may sound dated. but, with all the crap coming out today, all those sh#tty, bands coming out, sounding all the same, this cd still rocks. metal sucks, it belongs in the trash. just buy it, u will like it. peace out and thats on the fo real yo !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1 out of 5 stars Not only is Freddy dead, but so is the music!1991 sucks!.......2005-03-12

When Nightmare 6 came out the thing to remember is how grunge rock was taking over.Grunge ruined everything and so did rap,and this soundtrack falls into that category!Once the 80's ended soundtracks and music in general was ruined and replaced with souless, mindless, dickless rap and grunge rock!
1.I'm Awake Now(8/10)Not bad.Sounds good in and out of the film!A decent song.
2.Everything Remains the Same(1/10)This song sucks so bad!I wish Freddy would take that large cutip and stick it through my ears!
3.You Know What I Mean(2/10)This song sucks too.Has that grunge sound to it.The guitars don't sound right to me!
4.Remember the Night(7/10)Not bad.Decent rocker, but the vocals are so low you can hardly hear them!
5.Treat'em Right(0/10)Pure Sh*t!Toss this rap is the trash where it belongs!
6.Why Was I born(8/10)It's Iggy Pop!Good song,Iggy Pop never fails to please. Not his best, but compared to some of the stuff on this album it's a masterpiece!
7.Hold Me Down(3/10) horrible!The vocals suck!
8.Two Days in February(0/10)Trash!Utter complete trash!
9.Give me A Beat(0/10)Garbage!More rap sh*t!
10.Nothing left to Say(6/10)Not good, but better than most of the stuff on here!
I say this albu is not a must buy.Freddy collectors might want, but that's it.The rap and grunge sound really killed this for me!Go buy Nightmare on Elm Street 4 or 3 soundtracks instead. They are 100 times better!

5 out of 5 stars Freddy Pop.......2004-06-12

This is a really good soundtrack. Not nessecarily becuase the songs on it are particularly great, just how well they flow with the film. The directing and soundtrack provided the life for this film, certainly not the writing! These early goo-goo doll songs arent bad either.

3 out of 5 stars Freddy's Dead: OST.......2001-12-18

Nice mix of tunes from the film. Some good electronics and strings used as well. I am sure many people (myself included) thought it was THE Brian May (of Queen fame), however it is not. This guy also did soundtracks to the 'Mad Max' films.
I didn't recognise every tune from the film in here. It contains 28 tracks but still seems a bit short and often repetitive, but if you're a fan of the 'Nightmare' films, then you should be happy with this.

4 out of 5 stars Don't be fooled by the reviews of others.. this CD is great!.......2001-08-16

This CD has different songs for different genres. Plus it's good if you want to hear some of the earliest songs from the GooGoo Dolls. I also like the song Everything Remains The Same by Junk Monkeys which I can only find on this CD.

5 out of 5 stars UHHHHUH.......2001-03-31

UHHHHHUH I thaught that the score was very good despite what that other person gave it. I liked it,but I like Wes Craven's New Nightmare the best of the scores.Anyway for die hard fans unless you want to.

1 out of 5 stars Warning.......2001-01-01

Although it is listed under Brian May, please note it's NOT the actual Brian May of Queen fame, but rather an Australian composer who died a few years ago.
