So far this my favorite classical CD of the year. I never tire of listening to it (over and over on my iPod). It contains some really beautiful renditions of very moving classical pieces, both modern and ancient. All in all an emotional and dramatic presentation. The overall effect is relaxing but it will definitely never bore you!

PLEASE do not buy this re-recorded drivel unless you HAVE to own everything and you already own the above. As far as re-recordings go, this is one of the worst. There are dozens better.

Yet another reason to despise this morally perverse, society twisting hole we call HollyWood. I'd also like to say, good job, HollyWood Symphony Orchestra of putting together the worst performances of some of the best themes I've ever heard. Some of these compositions are downright MIDI'ish. How disappointed I was to start the opening track, having it sound like an early Playstation game's themesong...nah worse than that...honestly. My worst gripe about this soundtrack is the Luke & Leia theme from Return Of The Jedi. This still is my favorite track, even though it's been horrible redone (John W.???). Everything seems higher pitched with less depth and texture. But mostly it sounds rushed for releasal, not performance.

Maybe this cd is the first handpicked version about Star Wars soundtrack.Because it is the collectors edition,all music are so good.I think if you are a Star Wars fun,you must get it.

        I found this one funny than the original, but it didnt have the same feel. Still a good movie.

        Where's the rest of the score? They only took a few minor tracks from Randy Edelman's score and put them in almost as an afterthought. This kinda irks me because I buy soundtracks for the scores, not the other music. While I enjoyed all the songs on the soundtrack, there's still more room on a CD for more of the score, especially music from the fight scenes.

        Hey... just wanted to let everyone know that Jessica is an indie artist who I've kept an eye on for the past couple of years. She's toured with Michelle Branch, (she even appeared in the background with Branch's band on a episode of Charmed this season.) I understand that she's in the early stages of a record deal, and I say it's about time! She has a great voice, one that melds well with the current set of Branch/Avril Lavigne/Vanessa Carlton singers out, but her voice has more maturity, like that of Jewel or Melissa Etheridge.

        Jessica Harp is an independent artist at the moment negotiating a deal with Elektra Records. She is a singer/songwriter of rock/folk/pop music and plays the guitar. She has an amazing voice with great vocal range. Her songs range from love ballad's to some more rockier edge tunes. She's great! I give her a 5!
